7 Days Tour Imperial Cities Via Sahara Desert From Casablanca

INTRODUCTION :

In this Imperial City Tours of Morocco, we will travel through The Magical Atmosphere of Marrakech, The labyrinth of the Medina of Fes, Rabat, Capital on the Ocean, Volubilis, the Roman ruins in North Africa, Meknes and the jewel of Moulay Ismail.

DAY 1: CASABLANCA ARRIVAL

Arrival at the airport of Casablanca, processing of customs formalities and transfer to the hotel, dinner, and overnight.

 DAY 2 : CASABLANCA – RABAT

Breakfast in your hotel then start the tour to the imperial cities of Morocco, the tour begins with a short tour of Casablanca, a crowded metropolis of Morocco and a place of strong contrasts. Here we will visit the most significant monuments, in particular the central market, the Habous district, the Royal Palace, Mohammed V square, the residential Anfa area, and the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco.

Then we leave for Rabat, an elegant capital located on the Atlantic coast. Visit the most significant monuments of the city, in particular the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Hassan Tour, the Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Kasbah of the Oudaya, a fortress strategically located on the ocean.  DAY 3 : RABAT – MEKNES – MOULAY IDRISS – VOLUBILIS – FES

After breakfast, our Imperial Cities Tour continues in the direction of Meknes, an ancient and elegant imperial city surrounded by miles of imposing walls. Visit the most significant monuments including the beautifully decorated Bab Mansour Gate, the water cistern, the remains of the Palace dedicated to Moulay Ismail, an ancient ruler of Meknes and the Kingdom of Morocco, his mausoleum, and the mosque, and then to the Jewish quarter. Then we continue to Moulay Idriss and Volubilis, an ancient Roman city, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally, we will arrive in Fes where we will have accommodation in a hotel and overnight stay.

 DAY 4: FES CITY TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel and start the visit to Fes, the beating heart of the country. The charming medieval Medina hides in its labyrinthine streets ancient palaces and enchanting views that bear witness to the importance that the city had over the centuries. Visit the most significant monuments including the Medersa Bou Inania, considered the oldest University in the world, and Medersa Attarine. The Nejjarine square is dominated by one of the city’s most beautiful fountains, the Karaouine Mosque. Finally, visit the Fes El Jdid district before returning to the hotel and overnight stay.

 DAY 5 : FES – BENI MELLAL – MIDDLE ATLAS – MARRAKECH

Breakfast and departure for Marrakech. Along the way, we will appreciate enchanting landscapes and various Berber villages with nice views from the hills. Subsequently, along a mountain road, we will visit the Berber villages of Immouzer Kandar and Ifrane, a delightful place characterized by an Afro-alpine climate; the forests of cedars scent the air. Along the Atlas, we progressively descend towards the great Haouz plain. After passing the town of Beni Mellal, an important agricultural center of the region, we arrive in Marrakech. Hotel accommodation and overnight stay.

 DAY 6: MARRAKECH GUIDED CITY TOUR

After breakfast, we will visit the most significant monuments of Marrakech, the ancient destination of camel caravans coming from the South. Visit the Menara gardens, the Koutoubia mosque (exterior), the Bahia Palaces, and the Saadian Tombs. In the afternoon we will walk through the picturesque souks walking through the workshops of the artisans before reaching the magnificent Djemaa El Fna Square, the pulsating heart of the city that turns into a unique stage where snake charmers, acrobats, merchants, and rows of stalls that cook every type of dish acts as perfectly untidy actors in pure Moroccan style.  DAY 7: CASABLANCA AIRPORT DEPARTURE

After breakfast, transfer to the airport in time for boarding the return flight.
