We leave for Fez, where we will skirt the forests of the Rif until we reach the Roman ruins of the city of Volubilis. From Fez, we will go to the Middle Atlas stopping in Ifrane, known as ‘The Switzerland of Africa’ due to its architectural style where the typical gable roofs of the northern European countries predominate. The next village we will pass through will be Azrou, crossing the National Park known for its cedar forests where the famous Berber monkeys are found. Then we will visit the Ziz Valley which will take us to Erfoud, known for its fossils. Arrival in the desert where we change the 4×4 by another means of classic transport in our trips to Morocco: the camels, with which we will take a nice two-hour walk through the dunes until we reach the Jamia camp in the heart of the desert. After breakfast, we will return in dromedaries to the hotel where we will take a refreshing shower and then start our day of travel in Morocco. We will go to Rissani, known for its souk little frequented by tourists, being one of the most authentic markets in southern Morocco. Where we can find a parking lot for donkeys and nomads who come to stock up. Once we visit Rissani, we will go to the Todra Gorges famous for their towering walls where climbers come from all over the world. Visit of the Todra Gorges and continue our tour through Morocco to the Dades Valley to connect with the Valley of Roses and the Valley of the Thousand Kasbahs. After breakfast, we will pick up our private transport at the agreed place and start our trip to the Atlantic coast, bound for Essaouira, the old Mogador. On the way, we will cross immense forests of Argan, from where the precious oil of Argan is extracted and we will be able to see its elaboration in some of the cooperatives that exist. Essaouira, one of the most pleasant surprises in our organized trips to Morocco, was an old Portuguese citadel and behind its walls are hidden many picturesque places full of history, which you can start discovering yourselves from the moment of arrival. You can choose between a wide and varied sample of activities that are offered on the beaches of the city. There is the possibility of touring the beach on horseback, dromedary, or quad or if you like to walk, make an extensive walk along the Atlantic to reach its coastal dunes or sunbathe. It also offers a wide range of water sports such as kite surfing, windsurfing or surfing itself, jet skis, etc … If you opt to explore the streets of the medina, you will find numerous shops, artisans, and artists who offer their works at a good price.
