DAY 1 : TANGER – TETUAN – CHAOUEN

Arrival at the port/airport of Tangier and, as always happens in our trips organized by Morocco, collected by our staff. Departure to Chaouen and if time permits stop in Tetuán, known as ‘The Spanish city’ for having been the capital of the Spanish protectorate. Arrival in Chaouen, transfer to your hotel and free time to explore its picturesque streets, its old blue and white houses, and its panoramic views. Bed and breakfast in a charming riad.

DAY 2: CHAOUEN ROMANIAN RUINS OF VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FEZ

We leave for Fez, where we will skirt the forests of the Rif until we reach the Roman ruins of the city of Volubilis. We will visit the ruins with a local guide (optional) and then we will continue towards Meknes, a city that reached its apogee thanks to Sultan Mulay Ismail. Visit its mausoleum and the famous door of Bab Mansour. After the visit, we will go to our destination, the imperial city of Fez, a fundamental stage in all trips to Morocco. Arrival in Fez. DAY 3: VISIT OF THE IMPERIAL CITY OF FEZ

After breakfast, a guided tour of the city. A full day devoted to the discovery of the intellectual city of the kingdom. DAY 4 : FEZ – IFRANE – AZROU AND FOREST OF MONKEYS – ERFOUD – DESERT OF MERZOUGA

From Fez, we will go to the Middle Atlas stopping in Ifrane, known as ‘The Switzerland of Africa’ due to its architectural style where the typical gable roofs of the northern European countries predominate. The next village we will pass through will be Azrou, crossing the National Park known for its cedar forests where the famous Berber monkeys are found. Then we will visit the Ziz Valley which will take us to Erfoud, known for its fossils. Arrival in the desert where we change the 4×4 by another means of classic transport in our trips to Morocco: the camels, with which we will take a nice two-hour walk through the dunes until we reach the Jamia camp in the heart of the desert. DAY 5: DESERT MERZOUGA – VISIT NOMADS – DESERT OF ERG CHEBBI

We will begin the day with one of the great attractions of our organized trips to Morocco: the sunrise over the sea of dunes. After breakfast, we will return in camels to Merzouga and after a shower, we will leave and visit Khamlia, the so-called village of ‘Los negros’, so called because its inhabitants are descendants of the old slave trade that came from Sudan. They are excellent musicians and have made this art their way of life. With them, we will enjoy a small Gnawa music concert. We will return to the 4×4 to visit one of the tracks used in the Paris-Dakar Rally, visiting the mines of Khol and the remains of a French and Berber village. We will make a panoramic stop to contemplate the sand desert that encompasses the Erg Chebbi as a whole. We will visit some desert nomads with a process of a sedentary lifestyle with whom we can drink tea and learn more about their way of life. Return to the hotel. DAY 6 : MERZOUGA – ERFOUD – TODRA GORGES – OUARZAZATE

After breakfast, we will return in dromedaries to the hotel where we will take a refreshing shower and then start our day of travel in Morocco. We will go to Rissani, known for its souk little frequented by tourists, being one of the most authentic markets in southern Morocco. Where we can find a parking lot for donkeys and nomads who come to stock up. Once we visit Rissani, we will go to the Todra Gorges famous for their towering walls where climbers come from all over the world. Visit of the Todra Gorges and continue our tour through Morocco to the Dades Valley to connect with the Valley of Roses and the Valley of the Thousand Kasbahs. We will discover the kasbahs that are in the middle of this beautiful valley of palm trees and then we will go to Ouarzazate. After breakfast, we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and after 25 km of the road we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared World Heritage by UNESCO famous for being the scene of cinematographic blockbusters like the Oscar-winning “Lawrence of Arabia”, ” The Protective Heaven “or” Babel “. 9 DAY 9 : MARRAKECH TO ESSAOUIRA

After breakfast, we will pick up our private transport at the agreed place and start our trip to the Atlantic coast, bound for Essaouira, the old Mogador. On the way, we will cross immense forests of Argan, from where the precious oil of Argan is extracted and we will be able to see its elaboration in some of the cooperatives that exist. Essaouira, one of the most pleasant surprises in our organized trips to Morocco, was an old Portuguese citadel and behind its walls are hidden many picturesque places full of history, which you can start discovering yourselves from the moment of arrival. You can choose between a wide and varied sample of activities that are offered on the beaches of the city. There is the possibility of touring the beach on horseback, dromedary, or quad or if you like to walk, make an extensive walk along the Atlantic to reach its coastal dunes or sunbathe. It also offers a wide range of water sports such as kite surfing, windsurfing or surfing itself, jet skis, etc … If you opt to explore the streets of the medina, you will find numerous shops, artisans, and artists who offer their works at a good price. DAY 11: CASABLANCA TO AIRPORT
